Coexistence of LoRa and Wi-Fi in the RF band 2.4 GHz

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá štúdiom koexistencie, ktorá môže nastať medzi bezdrôtovými komunikačnými systémami LoRa a Wi-Fi v bezlicenčnom ISM pásme 2,4 GHz. V teoretickej časti práce sú stručne popísané fyzické vrstvy obidvoch systémov. Následne sú definované spoločné frekvenčné pásma a koexistenčné scenáre, ktoré môžu vzniknúť medzi uvažovanými systémami v spoločnom rádiofrekvenčnom (RF) pásme. V experimentálnej časti práce je prezentované laboratórne meracie pracovisko, ktoré bolo navrhnuté na meranie rôznych koexistenčných scenárov medzi technológiou LoRa a Wi-Fi. Funkčnosť navrhnutej koncepcie je overená experimentálnym meraním. Výsledky meraní sú detailne komentované a prezentované. Je navrhnutá laboratórna úloha a vzorový protokol pre vzdelávacie účely v Laboratóriu Mobilných a Bezdrôtových komunikácií.

Coexistence of wireless systems LoRa and Bluetooth

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na koexistenci LoRa a Bluetooth technologií v bezlicenčním 2.4 GHz ISM pásmu. Práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí, jmenovitě teoretické a experimentální. Ve své teoretické části se věnuje popisu fyzické vrstvy obou systémů a definuje koexistenční scénáře, které mohou mezi oběma systémy nastat. V experimentální části je navržen a zrealizován měřící testbed pro měření koexistenčních scénářů, které mohou nastat mezi LoRa a Bluetooth systémy v 2.4 GHz ISM pásmu včetně následného zpracování naměřených dat. Na závěr je navrhnuta laboratorní úloha a založená na experimentální části diplomové práce, která slouží pro edukativní účely pro kurz mobilních komunikací vyučovaný na univerzitě VUT.

Analyzing IP Telephony over H.323

This thesis describes protocols from H.323 standard. Tools used for analyzing VoIP calls over H.323 are described. The main object is to describe a design and implementation of a tool for analyzing IP telephony over H.323. The tool seeks and decodes signaling messages. These messages are analyzed for information about call itself (time of beginning and end of a call, call numbers of participants, etc.) and for information necessary for capturing multimedia data. When captured, multimedia data are exported for proper post-processing. Call information are exported as XML structures.

This bachelor thesis, in the theoretical section, explains the principle of functionality of heat pumps, their efficiency and distribution by type of circulation and heat source. The next part is devoted to technical research of comercially available gas heat pumps that are, in the calculation part, compared with electrical heat pump and with gas condensing boiler according to their energy efficiency.

Quality of Services in Optical Access Networks

The thesis focuses on the optical access networks and deals with the issue of transmission parameters of the physical layer, their negative impact on the quality of the services parameters and the possibilities of reducing their effect using the polarization multiplexing. The first and second chapter describe the theoretical background necessary for understanding the subsequent parts. The third chapter contains the practical part of the thesis. At first the optical routes in the Czech Republic in terms of polarization mode dispersion, which is together with insertion loss the main limiting parameter of high-speed optical networks, are evaluated. In the following part the measuring of the temperature changes effects on the polarization mode dispersion of the passive components and the effect of temperature changes to the polarization multiplexed signal are evaluated. To double the bandwidth and reduce the influence of polarization mode dispersion on the quality of services, the two simulation models of optical access networks using polarization multiplexing were carried out. These theoretical outputs were verified by the practical measurements in the laboratory and subsequently on the real optical route. Finally, a draft of the broadband optical access network based on wavelength and polarization multiplexing was designed based on obtained knowledge.

Title: Comparison of selected performance indicators basketball players from NBA in matches at the European Championship in 2011 and World Cup 2014 Goals: Analyze individual efforts NBA players for two international events with national team, in broader context to evaluate and quantify their efficiency with the two special coefficients. Compare their performance on each tournament with using selected statistics, than compare them with the elite players in many categories at the championships, but also in their teams. I think very useful is final comparison their results on tournaments with their career averages from national team and NBA regular season, to see if the performances for national team achieve their performances in the best club competition in the world. In teoretical part I'll also focus to the socio-economic aspects affecting composition of national basketball teams, which significantly affect the overall composition and therofore their success , which is prestented by overall team placement. Obvious is endeavour to describe the diversity of game plans in overeas and Europe, but also different politics of NBA and FIBA. Coexistence Of Lora And Wi-Fi In The 24 Ghz Band

This paper deals with the study of coexistence between LoRa and Wi-Fi systems in the non-licensed 2.4 GHz RF bands. An appropriate laboratory measurement workplace is realized to measure the performance of LoRa on physical (PHY) layer level in terms of packet error ratio (PER). The functionality of the proposed concept is verified by a set of experimental measurements, where different coexistence scenarios are considered.
